“Unfortunately the smell of this is awful, like wet sheep as the lanolin is not purified enough. And simply because of that it is unusable. On top of that, it seemed not worth it to return the product to get a refund as I would have to pay for return myself - £6 and the cost of the balm is £12.”

“I used to be a carmex junkie and could not be without it close to hand. Now I put this on morning and night and if I need lip balm throughout the day, I'm not running around like a maniac trying to find one. Don't get me wrong I still have them dotted around the house but that's because I'm a mum and use it on my kids too, so having them to hand is just convenient. Also got my husband, who uses zero skincare, on it. He even has it on his nightstand! One thing I will say is he finds that it, and I quote, "smells like a farm" but I'm I guess that's the smell of the lanolin that he's not liking. I personally can't smell it and it hasn't stopped him using it. Also it does have quite a thick consistency so bear that in my mind if thinking about purchasing. I quite like this as you don't need very much at all because a little goes a long way.”
