“This thick balm smoothed my dry cracked lips in just a couple of days. I’ve noticed that the condition of my lips has improved substantially even when I haven’t got this on. I use at night and whenever needed during the day. I also use before running to protect my lips from the cold. Highly recommended”
“This product certainly works well to protect and hydrate my lips - but when it's initially applied it feels quite dense and sticky. At least for my lips, it seems to take a while for the balm to absorb and for the thick film to disappear. I do like that it's totally transparent, and that it leaves my lips glossy without the same lipstick-esque weighed down feeling, but I just don't love it enough to purchase it again. I'll also say that it's really not very malleable when the temp. isn't warm enough, and my lips have still sadly experienced dryness & cracking this winter season despite using this. Perhaps I should try using it more as an overnight "mask" remedy, but for a quick go-to lip application, it's not a favourite.”
“I have been using this lip balm over the space of a few months and it has to be one of my favourites. It may not smell as fruity as most others, but you can almost feel it working as soon as you apply it. My lips have been the softest they have ever been during the winter months. It takes a bit of squeezing to get it out of the tube but you really don’t need much to cover your lips. I put it on morning and night and extra if I’m going outside. “I purchased this first in August 2020, and only now 6 months later am needing to repurchase! This longevity is owed to the very thick consistency and concentration of the product.
As others have mentioned, especially in cold temperatures, the viscosity increases markedly - meaning you do have to put some welly into squeezing this out of the tube. However, such a tiny amount smoothes delightfully easily over both lips, and coats them all night without budging for a perfectly comfortable and soft surface the next morning.
I find I only need to apply this once in the morning and once in the evening, and I never end up with cracking, rough, flaky or uncomfortable lips. This is great because the product can just stay in the bathroom, with no chance of getting lost or being misplaced wherever I may go.
