i like to use this cleanser for my second cleanse in the evening and sometimes in the morning. It does the job very well but doesn't hydrate my dehydrated skin. Would recommend it for sensitive/ acne/ eczema prone skin.

The cleanser itself is great, love the texture and the fresh clean face I get after using this. The only downside was the content of the bottle I have went bad in about 2 months of using (the bottle says I have about 12 months of shelf life) and they didn't give me any explanation as why that could happen (I emailed them). I was only less than halfway through! That's almost 10 quid down the drain but oh well! I still reorder because I haven't found other cleanser that can beat this one.

This may seem silly but I actually look forward to using my cleanser! I love how it’s a pump style and just makes my skin feel so nice and clean. It saves me time as it’s quick and so easy to use. I’m converted! It has definitely reduced any outbreaks and I have no more tightness in my skin ever! Whatever your doing Sam, keep doing it! Looking forward to the next product!

At last a cleanser that no only does what it says on the tin but has meant my skin has been blemish free for months. It’s a revelation! And the fact that there is now a travel size for this product is simply even better !

Since I started using this a year ago I have seen a drastic improvement in my skin. I use to have clogged pores and little bumps across my face (forehead) and since I’ve used this it’s calmed down and disappeared (thank god) it is gentle but so effective and removes make up very well.

This was my first purchase from Dr. Sam's line and because of it, I went to purchasing the moisturizer and then the nightly serum. This is by far the best cleanser I have used on my sensitive, oily skin. My skin was getting clean, but still felt hydrated and soft. I have the small to go cleansers spread around every bathroom in the house so just incase I wanted to wash my face there, I have the cleanser ready for me lol! Thank you Dr. Sam for a brilliant line of products and I look forward to seeing what you have instore for us in the future!

I'm in my mid-50s, and have used various cleansers, but as my skin has aged and become more sensitive I have found it hard to find an effective cleanser. Plus I have suffered from rosacea for over 10 years (managed by metronidazole gel). I read with interest a review about Dr Sam in one of the free London magazines, and was interested enough to do some more research. All the reviews I read were positive, and I felt that £16 for a cleanser wouldn't break the bank if ineffective (actually, it was cheaper than my usual brand). This was a few months ago, and I am onto my third bottle. It is the best cleanser I have ever used. I use an eye make up remover (Dr Sam - any chance of introducing one into your range?) and let the cleanser remove everything else (foundation, powder, and the residue of mascara). It doesn't clog the skin, leaves no residue and has not affected my sensitive, rosacea-prone skin, other than to leave it clean. The 'acid test' is the 'morning after the night before' when cleansing might not be as indepth as it should be - the morning cleanse shows no sign of makeup. The pump dispenser is brilliant - 2 pumps at night, 1 in the morning, so I never waste any. Plus I like the 'clinical' look of the dispenser! I am a convert, and using the cleanser has resulted in me using the rest of the range!

I was really excited to try this as people speak so highly of it but it dries out my skin every time. I feel like it’s really harsh on my skin so don’t recommend it for people with problem or acne skin.
