“For years, I’ve chosen cleansers that foam over the ones that don’t. Because of this, I planned for this cleanser to be my morning cleanser, and a foaming one as my night cleanser...
...well, thankfully this cleanser has proven to be just as effective (and a lot gentler on my combo, sensitive, acne-prone skin) than my cleanser that foams. Allowing me to further simplify my skin care routine. Although, I do have to admit that at night I sometimes do use an extra pump/double cleanse if my skin feels more oily than usual or if I’m experiencing any breakouts. Which by the way, since using this cleanser, almost a month at this point, I have experienced less breakouts-FINALLY! Goodbye adult acne!
FYI- those who have dry skin will also benefit from this cleanser. My partner who has dry skin, and is annoyingly SUPER PICKY, also highly appreciates this cleanser- sadly for me because this just means that I will run out of this cleanser much sooner than anticipated. But I suppose that’s not such a bad problem to have-much less clutter in our bathroom.”
“I think this cleanser would be better suited for a morning cleanse or for someone with sensitive skin. I found it nice and slippery and when washed off no residue. However, I found that especially because I've got stubble, it never fully cleansed my oily/combo skin enough.”

“Although I absolutely love the flawless serum, this cleanser broke me out and dried out my (oily) skin, which started flaking. On top of that, my face was red, I had inflamed pimples all over. I have no problems with redness, and I never used any cleanser that produced this effect (and I've used so many of them!). It was honestly really bad and uncomfortable (tightness of skin and irritation). I stopped using it and my skin went back to normal. There must be an irritating ingredient but can't tell what it is. It now lives under my sink, not sure what to do with it...”
“This is going to become my go-to cleanser! I don't think I'll need any other cleanser as long as I have this one. My go-to was a double cleanse, first with oil followed by a gel-foam cleanser. So when I decided to only cleanse with this, I was very pleasantly surprised at how my skin felt: so clean but not stripped. I am really enjoying the jelly texture and how it glides across the skin. I think it's quite affordable and I would recommend it to others :)”
“I’ve been using this product for 8 weeks now and I’m really liking it. It feels really luxurious and after struggling for a long time to find an effective and gentle cleanser I really liked using, I’m so happy I tried this. Just don’t get it in your eyes because it does sting! At first I liked the pump but now I’ve found that the pump stops working long before the cleanser has actually run out, I think due to the consistency of the cleanser. I’d prefer to see a larger squeeze tube perhaps, and also, if there is a way of somehow getting this is into re-fillable packaging, or at least a system where empties can be returned to Dr Sam’s and for sure recycled into new packaging, that would be the ultimate!”
“I, like so many others, had high hopes for this cleanser. I have dry, acne prone, sensitive skin. It sounded perfect: non-foaming, pH balanced, fragrance free, great for acne prone skin, etc. The cleanser is very thick, which makes it extremely difficult to rinse off. Even sticking my face directly under the shower head, I feel like I couldn't rinse it all off. My face had a very sticky feeling after I used it. It seemed to cause a little redness and itching for me as well. I'd like to try the moisturizer, but I'm not confident after using this.”
“I like how simple and effective this cleanser is. I find it slightly drying, but I don’t have particularly dry skin so it works well for me. I wanted something non-foaming, fragrance free and that I didn’t need to use a flannel with, as I was finding that irritated my skin - this cleanser is all of those things and I think will be a long term regular in my routine.”
