Flawless Cleanser Reviews

This cleanser has to be one of my must have skincare products! My skin can be prone to sensitivity and particularly in winter i need to be careful with cleansers that can be too stripping. This cleanser keeps my skin clean and fresh without leaving my skin feeling tight and stripped. Not only that, but it has completely transformed my younger sisters skin, who suffers from teenage breakouts! It is a must have for all skin types and concerns.

Another great product, my skin has improved and the product does not dry my skin out either. I have been receiving positive comments from people around me about how 'flawless' my skin is looking!

I have been using this cleanser non stop since it was launched, I have dispensed with all other cleansers....it is so effective but gentle on my very sensitive but acne prone skin....it's so good that my son who struggled with eczema but was also prone to teenage breakouts has been using it for the last six months....his skin has never looked so good...I honestly can't recommend this cleanser highly enough

I like this cleanser - it does a good job of cleaning your skin without stripping it of its oils and it leaves your skin feeling healthy and happy. You have to leave it upside down and scrape sooooo much product out of the bottom when you get nearer to the end - design flaw. I am also now using FaceTheory's clarifying cleanser because I ran out of Dr Sam's nightly serum and needed a cheaper option unfortunately, so I bought a cleanser with some actives in it. That is now drawing all of the impurities out of my skin, which Dr Sam's cleanser doesn't achieve on its own. But that's because you are meant to pair it with her serums which do that instead. Overall it is a good cleanser at a good price - it just ends up mounting up when you have to pair it with the serums which are obviously a lot more expensive.

I love Dr Sam's products - how simple she makes them and how easy she makes it to understand exactly what you do and don't need in your skincare routines through her Youtube channel. This cleanser has all you need to clean your face & neck without stripping your skin. However, it doesn't have any essential actives in to clean deep into your pores (eg. BHA / AHA etc). Dr Sam says this is because these types of acids should not be going on delicate areas like eyes or lips, which totally makes sense. But if you can't afford either her daily or nightly serums which have all the actives you need to clean out and close up your pores, then you aren't getting any of those ingredients by just purchasing the cleanser and moisturiser. I give it 4 stars because I know it is a good cleanser, so many just strip your skin of natural oils or do a rubbish job of cleansing. But unfortunately, with Covid struggles especially at the moment, Dr Sam's more expensive products are not an option for me. Therefore it loses a star as the cleanser & moisturiser do not do anything to combat my blackheads and close up the pores on their own. I am currently using FaceTheory's clarifying cleanser and it is the most amazing cleanser I have ever used. My skin had a purge for a couple of weeks and now it is bright and clear even during my time of the month which NEVER happens. I have taken Dr Sam's video advice and am careful not to put it near my eyes or lips, so I am grateful for that. And hopefully once I am back on my feet, investing in Dr Sam's more expensive products won't be so difficult for me. Lastly, I love gel formulations for cleansers but I am not a massive fan of the really thick consistency - I know that many people are because they hate having to double cleanse and this cleanser stops all of that. But I wear a lot of make up and no matter what cleanser I use, I would need to cleanse twice as when I first cleanse, all I can see is me washing all the loosened make up all over my face (I know I should probably wear less make up but oh well!) Double cleansing honestly doesn't bother me - I have an amazing oil make up remover from The Body Shop that you put on dry skin that removes make up like a charm and then I'm happy to go in and cleanse my skin properly once that's off. So for me I would prefer a less thick consistency, but I totally understand why others would want to remove the need for two cleanses out of their routine and save time. I saw someone else say that you cannot get all of the product out the bottle before it stops pumping, and when you decant it it is like a quarter of a bottles worth - this is true. It perhaps needs to be in a squeeze bottle or something. Overall, if you can afford Dr Sams other products then this is a great cleanser, or if you want to quit double cleansing then this cleanser will be for you. Also, if you have never had a good experience with cleansers I am sure this will change your outlook. For me though who has seriously acne prone skin and real stubborn blackheads which I am determined to get rid of, I won't be repurchasing until I can afford the daily and nightly serums.

This cleanser is so amazing! I love how luxurious it feels going on my skin and how it leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and normal. I love how it has minimal ingredients to get the job done and it provides a solid foundation for actives, moisturizer and sunscreen (for daytime).

I actually bought this cleanser for my daughter who has very sensitive skin and suffers with rosacea and breakouts. Apprehensive and cautious to say the least as any changes have an effect plus she has been using LE cleanse & polish since she was a teenager. Having read the reviews watched Dr Sam on Instagram many times I was convinced enough to try this out for her and I am so so glad I went ahead and purchased. Firstly, she told me the application of the cleanser felt soothing and glided on easily, her skin sighed with relief as it instantly calmed with the lovely gel. On removing with a soft face cloth, her skin was left soft and not at all dry and taut and within the first week any active red angry spots had quietened right down - pretty amazing results from a cleanser! So with all her talk of this amazing cleanser well, I felt I had to try it too! At the opposite end of the skin spectrum with mature skin that's well into the ageing process with skin laxity and loss of firmness that retinol and serums are being applied in a desperate bid to help my skin look the best it can - a losing battle it seems! However, I do enjoy trying and finding products to use and cleansing is an important factor. I have spent far more than this on cleansers before and been mightily disappointed but this one from Dr Sam is going to be a keeper for me too as I love it! From the easy pump dispenser, the lovely soothing gel that's just a joy to use to way my skin feels after I've cleansed, clean and soft. What I would love to see is economical refills for your home pumps, any chance Dr Sam?
