Hi Alison, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We would say that while your perioral dermatitis is active, it’s not wise to introduce any new products. We’d advise you to see your doctor about getting treatment, and do watch Dr Sam's YouTube video on How To Treat Perioral Dermatitis Effectively for more guidance. Our advice would be to remove any actives (such as this) for now and stick to a very basic routine of Cleanse>Hydrate>Protect until your skin's delicate barrier has been repaired, then you can gradually and tentatively reintroduce the product.
