“I have been using these products for a while now. I think since August. I just don’t think it’s doing anything for my skin along aside other products I’ve been using from this brand. I’ve emailed to get advice and was given some great advice and kindness to see if I’ve been using the products wrong. I use my own personal routine that was given to me. But since using the products I’ve had the worst breaks outs I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I won’t be buying again. But doesn’t mean it won’t work for everyone else.”
Hi Courtney, so sorry to hear of your experience, however we do wish to assure you that we would expect to see purging of the skin when introducing new actives. This is actually a really good sign that your skin is responding to the products and doing what it needs to do! Although not always visible, there are blockages bubbling away under the surface of the skin and unfortunately what goes in, must come out. Remember, you're pushing out clogged up pores in a speed-up fashion under the influence of actives, so instead of getting those spots over the next 6 months, you get them over a shorter period of time. This is particularly common in those with lots of comedones at the beginning - so this pattern of acne will often look a lot worse before it’s better. “I've only had the product for a week and the difference it has made in my skin. It took me a long time to get my skin better and when I got pregnant my skin got so bad again. Spots, redness, little bumps, oily and dry. I tried some difference stuff and all made me break out. I kept seeing this and thought I'd finally give it a try and thank god I did! Spots are slowly going, redness is going down massively. I dont feel dry or oily. Just a nice in between. My skin is just looking healthier. Couldn't be happier and this is all with just the one product. Not been using anything else with it.
