“After using other products in the Flawless range I decided to try this when Avene re-formulated their Tolerance range which I had been using very happily for years (also incidentally, recommended by Dr Sam). I just wanted to know that there was something I could use that I wouldn’t react to and this seemed like a safe bet. I was right, my skin likes it and I’ve had no breakouts or redness as a result of using it, so I’m happy. I also love that it’s now available in the two sizes. So why only 4 stars? I find it to be a little silicone heavy. You can feel the silicone in it on application (certainly in contrast to the Avene I was using anyway) and I have experienced a little ‘rolling’ of the product a few times. I am experimenting with applying a little less to see if this makes a difference. Also, I find my skin doesn’t enjoy me applying this after the Brightly Serum and this brings out some redness - but this could equally be the serum it doesn’t like or could just be my sensitive skin! Anyway, suffice to say, if you’re looking for an alternative to the reformulated Avene, this is a great place to start!”
