“I’ve never been a fan of eye creams until I started using Dr Sam’s Nightly Eye so I had to try this. It’s a thicker texture than I anticipated but it sinks in beautifully and leaves my under eyes feeling well hydrated. Lasts ages! Over time I believe my under eyes are looking smoother and more plump.”
“This is my first big disappointment with Dr. Sam’s, unfortunately. I love her other products, but I simply can’t get this cream to absorb. It’s visibly on the surface, and none of my concealers will apply smoothly over the top. And left with a mess that has to be wiped off. If left on, it literally flakes off by the end of the day. Pretty embarrassing the first time I looked in the mirror and saw that.
I now see from other reviews that it’s a common problem. I contacted Customer Service right away and was given basic advice. (Use a small amount. Pat in.) I also wrote a review then to alert Dr., Sam and other customers.
I was determined to give it a fair chance, so I didn’t return it right away, but rather tried every trick under the sun over several weeks. None worked. I resorted to using it only at night, when the flaking wouldn’t matter. Eventually decided to return it because what I really need is a day cream for under make up.
Customer Service provided the return address—and that’s when I learned it would cost $21 (MINIMUM ) to return!!! Dr. Sam’s does not offer prepaid return labels like most companies do. They also do not say to simply keep the item, as many others do. Since this product issue is well documented in reviews here, I’m surprised and disappointed that customers are saddled with a hefty return fee. This is a documented quality and performance issue.
For that reason— not only the difficult eye cream texture, but the significant lapse in Customer Service— I can’t recommend this one. It’s a pricey experiment.”

“I have loved all Dr Sam products that I have tried but cannot get on board with this eye cream. It pills especially with spf and flakes throughout the day and the way it ‘sets’ leaves my skin feeling oddly tight and dry. 2 stars as I’m sure the ingredients in it are amazing but practically it doesn’t work for me and makes me avoid using it. Some people saying the colour puts them off but it’s very sheer I don’t find this to be an issue.”
