Sorry to hear that, how have you been applying it and for how long? It is essential to only apply PFB once a day with one sweep then massaging in. Thick coats can cause stinging, redness, excessive dryness, peeling and skin discoloration. Mild flaking is normal. Don’t attempt to scrub off flaking skin. Pigmentation can take 3- 6 months to see improvement or even longer for more stubborn pigmentation. Often as you're treating the discolouration as its bringing deeper pigmentation to the top it can appear darker before it lightens. It is also essential that you protect exposed areas with SPF daily and do not use any additional exfoliation. If you're a darker skin type (Fitzpatrick Skin Type 4, 5,6) your skin is more sensitive and in some rare cases may darken. Discontinue use if this occurs your skin is more sensitive and in some rare cases may darken.

“I've been using this product for about a month and I've seen a change with some of my dark spots. The older dark patches haven't seen any progress yet but newer marks are fading. I haven't seen much change with ingrown hairs but having something which will deal with the dark marks from them is helpful all the same.”
