I used this product on surgical scars. Definitely made a significant improvement in the appearance. You only need a little of the product as it can be a little sticky. Would recommend this product to people with older scars, as I found it improves these also.

I had a partial knee replacement 3 weeks ago and started using Kelocote straight after the surgical clips were removed on my 8 inch scar. I apply it morning and night and find it relieves tightness and helps with the sensitivity of scar. Only using 2 beads of gel on each application it covers the site and I will definitely continue to use the product to help reduce the scars' appearance.

I have my nipples pierced (4 months old) and I have developed hypertrophic scarring around the outside fistulas (holes) from sleeping on my side. I have used this product for a week now and already can see a massive difference - I combine it with a daily salt soak, dry, then apply the gel. As my piercings are still healing (they can take up to a year) I was worried about applying the gel to the fistulas in case I am aggravating the healing wounds, or introducing infection, but it's been fine. Thankfully! The scars haven't receded fully yet but have improved to a degree. What I would like to know more about actually, is how this gel works on skin like the nipples - it's clearly different skin to the back of the hand (for example) and wondering if that would shorten the necessary treatment time, or something... there's no information on the application of it this way, unsurprisingly - but this is a common problem in nipple piercings and it would be great to see some more evidence of it's use in the piercing world.

Have scar tissue following a fall on holiday last year. The "Kelo-cote" has reduced the swelling noticably.

I have only been using this product for around 2 weeks but I think I can already see a change for the good in my scars left form ingrown hairs. Would defiantly recommend to anyone with similar flat, discoloured scars.

I've just started using the gel so it's still early days but so far so good and I'm pleased with Kelocote scar gel for the treatment of keloids.
