“The SPF has a nice texture and smell, it goes on smoothly and doesn't feel sticky on my face afterwards. I was a bit surprised that it was a beige-colour rather than white but it doesn't seem visible on the skin. It's a bit too early to tell if this has made a difference to my acne which my previous SPF was making worse but it's easy to apply and feels nice on my skin.”

“Been using Heliocare 360 Gel over the summer months under makeup and on it's own - especially when sailing. Did notice some small breakouts/blocked pores on nose and cheeks, if I used it repetitively during the day. My freckles did come up (which is OK) and my quite large age spots did not darken at all. Certainly better than anything else I used before and would use it again.”

“Really wanted this to be the one...it feels fine on but put a bit too much on and it does peel. The worst thing is it gives me really, really bad spots. I just want a SPF 50 that I can use without boil like breakouts so that my sun damage doesn't get even worst. More wasted money that I can't afford same problem with Ultrasun 50 anti pigmentation. Anyone have the answer out there for me?”

Hi, sorry to hear that you're struggling with breakouts. The Heliocare Gel Oil Free SPF 50 is a dry touch, matte finish ideal for oily and acne prone skin to protect, however isn't a targeted treatment. It might be that you need to add some exfoliation/ targeted treatments to help control, prevent and clear congestion. “excellent cream. No greasy feeling like with other ones. My skin is very sensitive but this does not make me break out. Wish there was no scent to it but its OK not too overpowering. Will certainly continue to use. It's expensive but I think its worth it!”
