Gently massage a quarter-size amount over dry skin. Add water to lather. Remove this deep cleanser for oily skin with a clean, wet, and wrung-out washcloth. Splash face 10-15 times with lukewarm water. Blot dry. Do not use it as an eye make-up remover.You can use Jan Marini Age Intervention Gentle Cleanser to remove make-up. For men use Jan Marini C-ESTA Cleansing Gel, great for shaving. Use Clean Zyme Green Papaya Cleanser if you want an exfoliating cleanser, but cannot tolerate glycolic acid. Precaution: Jan Marini doesn't recommend using Glycolic Acid during pregnancy unless you have previously used it. Products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) may cause initial flaking, tingling, or irritation to the skin. For some, this may be part of the normal resurfacing process. This generally improves as the skin ‘gets used’ to the treatment. AHA products may be introduced with less frequent use, and application can be increased as the skin acclimates (follow product directions). First, start by gradually introducing one AHA product at a time into your skincare regime.
