Salicylic acid breaks up cells that stick together, promoting dead skin cell removal and facilitates sebum secretion. - Allantoin: Anti-inflammatory benefit to soothe skin inflammation. - Glycerin: An effective humectant and one of the natural moisturising factors of the skin. Contributes to enhancing the skin’s natural barrier function and reducing the TEWL (transepidermal water loss). Size: Contains 60 soft cotton pads Directions: Use in the morning and/or in the evening on thoroughly cleansed skin. Gently wipe pad all over the face or specific area, avoiding the eye area. Great for larger areas, they can be used on the neck, the back, and the back of the arms. Allow to dry and then follow with your regular serum and hydrator. For best results, use twice a day. Precaution: This product contains Salicyclic Acid, don't use it if you have an allergy to Aspirin, pregnant/trying to become pregnant, or breast feeding. Don't use products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA's), Salicylic Acid and Retinols, if taking Roaccutane and for up to a year after you have stopped taking it. Products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) or Beta-Hydroxy Acids (BHA) may cause initial flaking, tingling, or irritation to the skin. For some, this may be part of the normal resurfacing process. This generally improves as the skin ‘gets used’ to the treatment. AHA and BHA products may be introduced with less frequent use, and application can be increased as the skin acclimates(follow product directions). At first start by gradually introducing one AHA or BHA product at a time into your skincare regime. Also, some breakouts may occur initially, due to purging of the follicles. Discontinue use if you have severe redness, itching, burning, rash, swelling, or blistering. Apply sunscreen daily when using products that contain Alpha Hydroxy acids (AHA's) & BHA's.
