“I have given two stars because I find it very hard to use it as it is suppose to ! I have to open it and put the brush head on to the Powder which is very messy! Not convenient to use which defeats the object as to why I bought it! In fact I have given up on it ! Finally there is very little powder to use ! Expensive product! I watch videos on YouTube etc to learn how to use it but still find it hard an unpractical !”

“I still have no clue if the powder block is dispensed when I am using it? Any advise on how to shake the powder out onto the brush? Need a little help here please”

“I bought Brush on Block on the recommendation of someone on a running site. I have not been disappointed. It has been used by myself and my wife, we both find it easy to use and does exactly what it says on the box. Although pricey it is lasting well and give the best sun protection I have come across. I used this during the Man v Lakes ultra run 18th June on one of the hottest days of the year and being an ultra run meant I was out in the sun all day, with no sunburn at all. The other advantage is brushing on the minerals means no stinging eyes which I always get with sun creams. I highly recommend this product.”

“I have fine thin hair which means my parting is prone to burning on sunny days. I can’t use sun cream as it makes my hair very obviously greasy. This however is perfect! As a powder it doesn’t make my hair at all greasy and it does prevent burning. I always use this now. It is slightly beige coloured but unless I over apply or someone’s looking closely it’s not noticeable. I usually just buy refills but I’ve bought another as my daughter wants to try it.”

“Great powder sunscreen and a repeat purchase for me. I apply my spf lotion in the morning under makeup and use this as a top up if I'm out and about in the day. It's also really good at toning down any facial redness if you get a little overheated and freshens up makeup. The only negative is I sometimes have trouble getting enough powder on the brush and have to decant into a small pot.”

“I ordered it in April in anticipation of the sunny days coming back (sigh), and I have to say I quite like it so far. It is indeed translucent, though it gives a barely perceptible healthy glow, and I’m satisfied with the coverage it gives. It’s quite easy to use, and I’m under the impression that a little will go a long way! Perhaps one small downside lies in how you have to unscrew the brush from the powder capsule when you want to wash it, as loose powder can get lost. I try to do it on a sheet of paper, so I can retrieve the contents and put them back in the capsule.”
