RRP £80 - Concentrated facial cream with pure retinol improves the appearance of visible signs of ageing and pores while improving skin tone - Formulated to minimise irritation and specially packaged to preserve its potency -  Improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, discolouration, blemishes, and pores by accelerating cellular turnoverCORRECT SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.3  "Best over the counter product with Retinol" - New Beauty Choice AwardsA concentrated facial cream with pure retinol improves the appearance of visible signs of aging and pores while minimising breakouts at the same time. SkinCeuticals's retinol product helps stimulate cell regeneration and build collagen to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots from both photo-and intrinsic aging. Additionally, it helps minimise the appearance of pore size, while correcting blemishes and blotchiness often associated with problematic skin. Retinol 0.3 is recommended for first-time retinol users. This potent nighttime treatment features 0.3% pure retinol enhanced with the latest stabilisation and delivery technologies to ensure a steady, even release. Formulated with soothing bisabolol to minimise irritation and specially packaged to preserve its potency, this retinol cream for the face helps improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, blemishes, and pores by accelerating cellular turnover.  Directions: Use once or twice a week each evening as tolerated. Usage can be slowly built up to every other night and then nightly or as tolerated. Apply a pea-sized amount of Retinol to thoroughly cleansed the skin in the evening. Carefully avoid the eyes and the mouth area. You should try not to apply anything else to your skin at night. If a moisturiser is needed wait at least 15 minutes after applying the retinol. Ensure that you are applying your antioxidant serum and sunscreen every morning to avoid sun damage and pigmentation.  On any sign of irritation such as flaking or redness, reduce the frequency of use until the skin acclimates. If redness or irritation continues then stop using the product and seek advice. Size: 30ml Caution: We do not recommend using whilst pregnant.

Agree with those who say this product may be stronger than other retinol products out there. I'd used Paula's Choice retinol products before and don't recall having any sensitivity, but I really did with this! I would also recommend using twice or three times a week to begin with - once a day was certainly too much for me and I experience an uncomfortable stinging every time I washed my face and applied any kind of product for the next four days. I ended up just using cetaphile and cicalfate cream for a few days to calm in down. Stinging started again the following week. Skin seems to have acclimatised by now. I must say that results are noticeable; very refining appearance, will definitely keep using.

Haven’t noticed any improvement, I am only using twice a week as per my dermatologist advice as I have sensitive skin. Has been 4 weeks now. I also think it is very expensive for such a small bottle, I would not be able to re purchase due to this.

Hi, I am sorry to hear your are disappointed with the SkinCeuticals Retinol. To get the full benefit of any retinol you would need to apply it daily or every other night . For sensitive skin I would not recommend the SkinCeuticals retinol as it's a pure retinol. Also retinols can take up to 12 weeks to start to work in some clients. Andrea

Use at night with no problems. Will move up to 0.5% next time. Skin texture has improved. First class service as always from Andrea at Dermacare direct.

This is hard to review, as a new user of Retinol, but in brief, top layer of face peeled within 10 days and was sore. I’m reteospect, I feel I would use once every 3 days for a few weeks, then ever 2 days, and so on - not as directed. Clearly Retinol is a very strong substance. So at this very early stage, no way of ‘knowing if fine lines would improve over time. My face is recovering and I should have done more research. I have oily skin, so the present dryness is totally alien to me. Everyone is different and I just add this note as a friendly warning.

Nightly treatment to correct blemishes and large pores, so far works well but only started using it recently. It is quite expensive.

Its gentle and the best for the beginners who start using retinol first time. My skin is normal as usual when i use it and skin tone is getting better week by week.
