“Excellent all round wood, perfectly dried. If I could only have one type of wood, this would be it. Lights better than oak alone, splits easily for kindling, burns longer than birch - a great all-rounder. Vulnerable to moisture, so doesn't keep as well as oak, so needs burning up rather than keeping for ages.”
