Thank you for your feedback, Gavin. On our pat testing awareness course. This course is designed for people who work with PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) equipment. You will consider what is meant by hazard and risk and you will explore what electricity is and the associated hazards and effects on the body. Students will look at the different types of legislation relating to electrical appliances and equipment. This course should be taken as a refresher course, if you have not had previous PAT training, we advise you undertake face-to-face training first. This is advised on our website in the course description.

“Well constructed but missing the practical element on how to conduct the actual tests and equipment required to carry them out. Although I have legal knowledge I felt the legislation involvement might be a little too much for a lay man and not always necessary.”
