The course validated my knowledge of customer service skills and affirmed what I've learned over the years. The quiz was multiple-choice and easy to use. This course wouldn't work for someone who is a visual learner as there isn't much interactivity apart from the quizzes or videos, however, if you can learn from reading and listening then this course will work for you.

As an online generic course, this is fine it's a good base on which to build skills; useful as background work prior to in-person sector-specific training

The course content was VERY heavy and there were a lot of irrelevant slides which made the course a lot longer than necessary. There was also a lot more information that wasn't necessary for front-line staff and more for those at a head of department/ director level. It could really do with being condensed slightly and there were multiple slides where information was repetitive or worded in a different way, but meant the same thing. Because of the length of each unit, it was hard to remain engaged.

Felt very comfortable and at ease with CPD Online College. The way the courses are set out is excellent, especially for a person like me who finished school at 16years of age 30 years ago and never studied since. The staff are very helpful. Thanks.

I work with empathy all through my previous roles because this is a skill that will enable you understand how a customer feels and genuinely interested in providing solution to the problems. I am also a good communicator and a great listener as this are important in delivering an excellent service in the role.
