“Thorough course, but would have liked a video clip or two to break up the reading. Shame the certificate doesn't say Designated Safeguarding Lead and not just level 3 safeguarding.”

“The course covers the processes involved from raising concerns, to single assessment to an enquiry under Section 47 of The Children Act 1989 to the outcomes which can range from no action to police arrest of the perpetrator. It explains the role of the key social worker and the team around the child. It very nearly summarises each chapter with salient learning points and goes through the course setting out the law, definitions, the processes and review. It discusses the four levels of needs children are categorised under. It discusses more than the four known types of abuse of neglect, physical, emotional and sexual (nine). I have done many online and face to face courses and I can not recommend this course enough. This is the online course to take even if you have done a face-to-face course as I don’t think anything else compares.”

“Thank you - the online testing was very good. I did fail a few times and I was encouraged to go back and find the correct answers. It was good that I could attempt the quiz a few times and that really helped me learn and the answers are in my head! Very good method and I would like to do more training with you. The price was very good and competitive”
