“I have highly appreciated the course. Having learnt prevent duty it is good to know that it is an important aspect of Safeguarding. It was also important to learn the various types of Abuse and whom to disclose to the information. Issues to do with court order and who to report to has given me a lot of clarity although my question would be if a school does not have a social worker is it in order to report to a Safeguarding Lead.Overal it was excellent an great even knowing when parents should be told incase of an abuse.Thank you.”

“This Safeguarding Children Level 3 (Designated Officer) course provides a thorough and well-structured overview of key safeguarding legislation, thresholds of need, multi-agency working, and the responsibilities of designated safeguarding leads. The content is comprehensive, current, and clearly aligned with statutory guidance, making it highly relevant for professionals working in education and child-facing roles. The case studies and explanations were particularly valuable in reinforcing learning and encouraging reflective practice. Overall, the course successfully balances theory with practical safeguarding considerations. That said, some of the assessment questions were ambiguously worded or relied heavily on course-specific phrasing rather than clear statutory language. In a few instances, this made questions open to misinterpretation despite a secure understanding of safeguarding principles. Greater precision in question wording would strengthen the assessment element and better reflect real-world safeguarding decision-making. Despite this, the course remains a strong and worthwhile training programme, and I would recommend it, particularly if the assessment questions are refined for clarity and consistency.”
