“A good course, however, I believe the time to thoroughly do this course in order gain a clear understanding requires pause, thought and consideration. Due to this, it took me longer than the suggested time. I also feel there is value in teaching these courses face to face in a classroom as it gives participants the opportunity to discuss cases and reflect on experiences they may have had. Overall, good for an online course, however personal choice for me would always be get training back into a classroom - there is much value in this way of teaching/learning. Thank you”

“We use the CPD College to undertake interim refreshers of our safeguarding training however, as a specialist domestic abuse organsation, we have found that some of the information about domestic abuse is very outdated in terms of its undertsanding of the dynamics of DA, what makes someone more vulnerable, and signs and indicators of abuse. The section regarding what 'makes' someone abusive was particularly concerning and goes against the current understanding of abusive behaviour so would benefit from being updated.”
