“Whilst I can’t complain about the price and policy I ended up taking I did have an issue which cost more than what was quoted to rectify. My job title for some reason didn’t transfer through to the insurer correctly and upon requesting to cancel an old policy which happened to be with the same parent insurer. This error was pointed out to me and I was then given an ultimatum of pay the price to amend this or have the insurance cancelled either by myself (at an additional cost) or by the insurer which then blacklists you as a customer so ultimately left me no choice but to pay the extra charge. Needless to say this was very frustrating especially as my details were correct in confused.com and all I did was accept the policy and set up the payment so missed the fact this had changed somewhere along the way.”
