“Read the small print before buying, if you have to cancel the policy for any reason - depending on when you cancel it you can end up paying more than the premium. I had to pay the outstanding amount plus a huge fee for cancelling it! When I tried to see if it was possible to use the remaining time for another vehicle etc I was told it was too late as the policy was already cancelled and I would just have to pay... Totalled over £280 to cancel a £40 per month policy!”
