“Last year I bought a fully comp policy for my C class Mercedes with the AA via Confused .Com for £122.
For this year the renewal price was £162. I called and asked for the £40 justification as during the policy period no claim was ever made.
The AA agent informed me that all Companies do this and only mugs renew with thier previous provider.
After then visiting Confused.Com the best deal was with the AA for just £118 , again fully comp.
The AA matched their own price and took payment via my debit card as there was a charge for paying via a credit card. This had not been menmtioned previously of course.

“AA are too busy trying to hard sell 'add ons' (breakdown cover etc) The renewal quoted was increased by £30 from last year despite no claims being made. After a phone call they quoted me last years price again. This should not happen. Think I will change provider next renewal”
