“Pros. Quick and easy recharge. Small, light, portable. No boundary cable required. Cons. Front edge ground clearance is insufficient and results in repeated immobilisation. Camera and sensors are erratic: sometimes it stops in the middle of a flat lawn for no good reason, at other times it tries to mow a tree down! Not water proof!! Summary: I have previously used similar products and can compare this robomover to several others, each at a different price point. If you can obtain this mower at about £200, you have a competitive product. If you are paying much more, there is significant competition to consider.”

“Very happy. have used 3 times now and it is working very well. Wish i had bought one years ago. Very good gut on the grass. lovely finish. easy to use all the functions. Also battery last a long time. and charging is fast.”

“Works really well, especially as my lawns were pretty Long and wet (UK winter). I'm kinda astonished at how well its handled it. I've put a barrier around the pond, but am thinking I might be able to lessen it as the robot has proven adept at detecting edges.”

“I’m absolutely delighted with this mower, since I have three separate areas of grass which makes a perimeter wire mower unsuitable. It took a while to find the optimum mowing frequency and height and I find it better to use when the grass is in the shade.”

“The VBRM16 needs a firmware update so it takes no notice of dead grass. But besides that it does the job. Put it on your lawn, press a button and leave it.”

“First use was very good but second use it seemed to get confused going in and out of the shadows ie it seemed to detect the shadow line on the grass a border.”
