“Very happy with the new lawn mower. I bought it because it has a wider than average cut and also I was attracted by the roller - not so much because I expected it to put stripes in my lawn but because I thought it might make it easer to get closer to the lawn edge alongside the flower borders. The mower came very quickly and was easy to set up. I've managed one cut so far, first of the season, and it handled very well. The height adjustor is really easy to use. I've not yet tried cropping the grass lower to the ground, starting with a higher setting given it was the first cut. My previous mower was a 20" petrol Yard King which cleared the front and back lawns in no time at all. It takes longer with this mower, and I'm dealing with a power cable which is a bit of a pain, but at least I'm no longer breathing in petrol fumes!”

“Product experience - The item is made in China and is not a match in regard to build quality to the item it replaces. I don't believe it performs as well, but this (to be fair) is still undetermined. Maybe ask me again in 6/12 months! My only hope is it exceeds the 2yr guarantee despite only likely being used a hanrdful of times during that time period.”

“Taking it out of the box and assembling was a 10-minute process, really simple to do ((albeit the images were better than the text). Pros - Good even cut, even in the wet, good size box means a lot less emptying than previous lawnmower. Fair quiet and relatively easy to manoeuvre (albeit the box does stick out the end so not ideal for raised edges. Cons - 2 major drawbacks. The Grass box does fit easily onto the lawnmower and you almost have to bash it into place. Once in place, it is secure but a faff to get on each time. The second issue is this is meant to be a lawnmower for large gardens. The 10m cable provided is ridiculously short, such that you need an extension lead in the middle of the lawn or else you'll end up pulling the plug out every turn.”

“Product specification (1800w 40cm Lawnmower with roller and mulching plug) was exactly what I was after but assembly was a little fiddly and the build quality of the grass box meant that it was a shockingly bad fit. The plastic top of the grass box was not very sturdy, was very awkward to fit and fitted too close to the mower cover flap meaning it could not close properly leaving a 1-2cm gap, this would allow cuttings to be expelled in use. I noticed other quality issues with the grass box also, flimsy and other gaps, which meant I decided to return the item.”

“Electric cable is far too short, making it awkward to use as you have to add another extension cable, bad design! The grass collection bin doesn't fit very well, hopefully it will get easier the more I use it.”
