“My recipient, a lady who is 87 was delighted with the Hamper which she shared with her Helper. She was impressed with the contents and has thoroughly enjoyed the cheese and Pate. However she did received a lot of gifts, flowers, wine etc that day but could not see an enclosed note with the parcel that I had sent it to her, so she rang around her friends until she phoned me to establish it was from me. “The hamper itself was fine and the contents excellent. The trouble was that it did not arrive on the specified date, which was the birthday of the addressee. Hampers need to be a lot stronger with their couriers to ensure the delivery arrives on the specified date, for which a delivery charge has been added to the cost.”
