Haper itself was great, delivery less so; ordered just in time for Christmas, got an email from Hampers.com on Christmas Eve to say that it would be delivered later, arrived too late for Christmas

My mum was thrilled with the hamper that I ordered her for Christmas. The customer service was great too as I made a mistake on the delivery address but this was quickly rectified by one of the Hampers.com team.

I booked a Hamper as a Christmas present for my aunty in Scotland and it was supposed to be delivered on the 24th December and it only got delivered yesterday 31st December - I’m really not very happy because my aunty will now think I didn’t care enough to send her a present on time

One question for the sellers; Why do they put so few items into such a large box ? The items take up about a third of the box, the rest is packed with straw. Undoubtedly both the box and the straw go straight into the bin (hopefully for recycling), but otherwise it is a complete waste of resources (manufacturing, packing, delivering, recycling) and is very environmentally unfriendly. Why not put the items into a much smaller box ??
