Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine

This is the most technologically advanced car wash system that only requires 1-2 gallons of water to wash the entire car. Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine does not require rinsing since there are no soapy surfactants to wash off into the storm drains.

This unique product contains substantive polymers which bond to the paint and protect it during the wash. Therefore, Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine offers greater protection and lubricity than conventional car washes leaving a sleek & glossy finish behind afterwards. The wastewater in the bucket can be used to water the lawn or disposed of into a sink, where it will be treated!

Directions:

Add 1 oz. of Optimum No Rinse to 1-2 gallons of water to make a no rise car wash. Soak Optimum Xtra Large Microfiber Towel in the wash bucket. Wash one car panel. Soak the towel in the wash bucket again and do another panel till the entire vehicle is washed. Use a fresh Xtra plush Microfiber Towel to dry the car. You can also dry and wax your vehicle by spraying Optimum Car wax on each panel as you are drying it.

Add 1 ounce to wash water made with your regular car wash. No Rinse Wash & Shine's advanced polymers and lubricants offer more surface protection and slickness than ordinary car soap alone. It acts as a water softener and conditioner to improve the quality of the water that touches your vehicle to provide the ultimate safe wash.

Add 2 ounces of No Rinse Wash & Shine to a gallon of water to make a super-slick clay bar lubricant. Wet the surface of your vehicle to provide a slippery protective layer beneath your clay. After you've clayed each section, simply wipe it dry. This solution is as effective as any clay lubricant you can buy!

Add 6 ounces of No Rinse Wash & Shine to a gallon of water to make an excellent quick detailer. Fill up a spray bottle with this mixture and use it to clean and shine your vehicle, just as you would use a traditional detailer. The proprietary polymers bond to the paint surface to protect it from abrasion and micro-marring as you clean. The incredible formula leaves your vehicle extremely slick and glossy, like you just applied wax!

“I got this as an alternative to use while we still have the hosepipe ban in the Oxfordshire counties. First impressions are good. You do have to learn the technique of moving your cleaning towel around as it will get VERY dirty. But it only takes one clean to figure this out and settle into a wipe "routine". I also found that a quick spray on the panel ahead from where you are working helps loosen things up before you get there. Still trying to work out a method for my wheels but sure I'll get there in the few washes. Pro's: - Its quick and easy to get a car done in a short time. - No hose needed for car body. - You can clean your car anywhere you have a bucket, MF cloth and towel. - Doesn't seem to harm wax cover (my 2 coats of Dodo PH Pro). - Only 2 caps full per bucket so goes a long way. - No visible marring (but it's only been one wash). Cons: - You will need to (machine or soak) wash your MF cloth after every clean. - Only good on lightly soiled cars (normal road grime, not caked on mud). - Although you can use it for wheels, if you have big dirty 19" like mine you will need another cloth or just stick to a brush in the bucket. Over all very impressed. Think I'll keep using this up to winter when road dirt get too heavy and the hose ban is lifted. Interested to see what the new Dodo alternative to ONR is like..”

“I purchased the 8oz bottle as a trial because a work mate had recommended it to me, and what can i say. One of the first times I've bought something that actually achieves what it says on the bottle! I was going to give the car a quick wash ready to go out and thought I would try it for the first time. In full sun at 18c armed with a handfull of microfibre cloths, some for washing and more for drying, i followed the instuctions putting 1 fluid onze in 2 gallons of water and began washing as it suggests, 1 panel at a time and then drying (remember no need to rinse), ( also if heavily soiled changing the cloths more frequently) but when i had finished the results were spotless, literally not a single dried on water mark, that you would expect in this kind of sun and heat. The process seemed to take longer but reality showed me in fact it was quicker. This product also has other uses such as clay lube or quick detailer depending on your concentration but I can't comment on these as I haven't tried it, but if the no rinse wash is anything to go by i have every faith it will perform just as well. My only grudge is wasting my time buying the smaller 8oz bottle to begin with. Next time It's going to be the 32oz.”

“Hosepipe bans. Not great for car cleaning regimes so I purchased the ONR to see what all the hype was about. It goes against everything you've learned about making things shiny! Added to 8 litres of water, noodle mitt dunked and wrung out it cleans with ease. I don't know how it does it but it does it well! Each panel washed and dried easily. Left one or two a bit sticky when I applied the wax afterwards but it halved the time taken to was the car! Try it. It's weird but it works!”

“This takes all the hassle out of washing, only needing a bucket or 2, a microfibre mitt and a drying towel. Great as clay lube too. A little goes a long way. The dirt seems to stick to the mitt after wiping across the panel. Revolutionary. Great if you don't have access to a hose pipe. Highly recommended indeed.”

“Due to the imminent hose pipe ban I bought ONR, more in hope than expectation of a good result. Having worked out the US dilution ratios, I set to work on my dusty old car. Used as directed, the results were excellent - I am now a convert and agree with all the other positive comments. Quick and effective. I will not miss my hose-pipe this summer!”

“I bought this in preparation of a local hosepipe ban. Have used it several times now. What can I say? I'm a convert! When used with proper care and following advice from the CYC forum I have been very impressed with the results. I can now keep my car nice and shiny without worrying about how much water I use this summer. Great stuff.”
