“The name says it all. Kind professional staff from making my reservation (Hannah was patient and kind and found me an even cheaper rental!) to the pick up spot (had to call twice because we didn’t read the signage correctly. Staff walked us through, patiently) to the rental staff (Liezal at the desk and handoff guy - sorry I didn’t get your name!) to dropping off the car. The best experience we’ve ever had at an affordable price. We come to Ireland often and will now use Easirent EVERYTIME. Thanks for allowing debit card usage- you have lifetime customers that are spreading the good word!”

“The car hire isn't actually at Dublin airport, you have to make a phone call and wait for a shuttle bus, which we waited about half an hour for, with an elderly parent and no where to sit and wait in the rain! Also there was an enormous deposit to leave on a credit card, something like over 2K, which seemed an awful lot. Would prefer a car we can get directly at the airport.”

Thank you for your review and we are sorry if you did not notice that Easirent are advertised as being a shuttle transfer from the airport and that a phone call is required to arrange the shuttle. It is unusual for a wait of that length of time but so unfortunate that it was also raining. Their off airport location is the reason Easirent as almost always cheapest company at Dublin Airport. We offer two packages, the standard package, with a sizable excess and deposit, which is the cheapest way to hire, or the excess waiver package - popular with both credit and debit card holders - where there is no deposit at all to leave and no excess to pay if the car is damaged in an accident or stolen. The latter is by some margin the more popular package we offer in Dublin, as many users, like you, prefer to avoid the large excess. We offer lots of on airport options in Dublin too - so would be delighted to personally tailor a future hire to your preferences - please do let us know if we can.

Hi Paul, This was massively unfortunate and thankfully a very rare event (around 1 in a 1000 in our experience) - not that that is any consolation to you. As you know this was as a result of an issue with the car being returned by a prior hirer. We did look for other options, but given your requirements could not come up with a suitable alternative. We are so sorry this occurred but will ensure that if you make a further booking with us that we call ahead to make sure you get looked after well on pickup.
