I did some research on testing salinity and discovered that the best refractometers are calibrated to measure the S.G. of seawater (not saltwater/brine) at a temperature of 20 degrees C (the average room temperature.) The D-D ocean ticks those boxes and I found it easy to use with the clear instructions provided. The refractometer also has temperature correction between 10 and 30 C.”
