This is a great day sack for cadets & just the right size to carry basics for patrolling & day to day use. Sturdy & additional pouches on the outside & in top cover are great for quick access. Defo recommend for all cadets.

On the good side, it is cheap. At £25 it's a steal. And the waterproofing works well. As others have noted, the elastic top is well within the external size of the top, so it has a useless "frill" around it - doesn't affect the functionality but looks peculiar. The zips on the external pockets are relatively low quality - they don't glide but need fairly rough treatment. Added to that they are tightly concealed under the pocket flaps, which have to be folded out of the way before opening the zip. It's clunk and feels cheap.

Been looking for a replacement to my dpm Munro but didn’t want to pay Munro prices. This bag is great, plenty of room for wet/warm kit plus what ever else I’m taking with me. Some small pockets on the sides, front lid are very handy for quick access to bits and pieces.

For the money, this is a decent little day pack and adequate for a young cadet who wants to look the part. Only one complaint: The way the lid is constructed is a little odd as the outer hem is too long, so doesn't sit snug up around the sides of the body of the pack, looks a bit like a rara skirt and wouldn't keep the rain out very well. Adding two extra short seams could fix this and should be within the capabilities of anyone who can sew on a button. You can just see what I mean if you look carefully at the product photo.

Bought for grandson who has recently started the air cadets. Product was dispatched promptly couple of issues with royal mail delivery but eventually item arrived. Item is good quality and a good price. Exactly what he needs when out and about with cadets. Customer service is really good too and responds to queries very quickly
