“This is an outstanding hedge trimmer. The cut is precise and the machine is well-balanced. Up until now, I have always used hand shears, which enable me to achieve a precise compact hedge and I thought this was not possible with a powered machine - wrong. The battery took about 45 minutes to reach full charge, although it was already 'two lights' charged, out of the box. I ensured the cutting blade was correctly cleaned (stihl graphite spray), and I am looking forward to many years of excellent use. Well worth paying the extra to have the HSA 60 rather than the 50 but I expect the cut would be just as good!”

“It’s almost a pleasure now to cut my hedges. This battery Stihl machine is a lot lighter than my petrol hedge cutter and I certainly do not miss the noise and fumes. I wish I’d had one years ago.”

“Surprisingly light weight and well balanced, which makes for easier handling and reduced fatigue. Cuts through the Berberis hedge with ease, even the thicker branches. This tool not only makes the job much easier, it also saves time compared to previous electric tool. Very impressive.”
