The SP46 is a great self-propelled, petrol-driven mower. The reliable STIGA ST140 Autochoke engine and the 46cm cutting width combine to produce a hard-working, dependable and easy to use mower.The mower is robust with a dark grey steel chassis that certainly looks the part! It has a centralised lever to adjust the cutting height of the blade – and there are six different positions to choose from depending on the length of grass you are cutting – with clippings collected into a capacious 60-litre canvas grass bag.To save time and to add nutrients to your lawn, simply fit the mulching plug (supplied with the mower) and clippings are finely cut and redistributed back onto the lawn surface as you mow. This no-nonsense, hardworking mower is ideal for medium-sized gardens and weighing in at just 26kg is easy to manoeuvre. An integrated front bumper handle and camlock adjusters make moving or folding the handles for storage as quick and simple as possible.
