For safety reasons, the outer Protos® shell should be replaced every 5 years (starting from the manufacturing date). This is available separately. For hygiene reasons, we recommend washing the main support pads regularly and replacing them every 2–3 years in case of daily use.The perfect fit and optimum hold of the Protos® Integral Arborist make it perfect for work at height, where face protection is indispensable. “Had always had cheaper helmets before but decided to invest after reading reviews. So glad I did!!!!.Makes sense to get the best helmet as you are going to wear it all day. There are good adjustment points so take the time to adjust the helmet to fit perfectly. Once it’s done, very comfortable to wear all day.”

“The Protos is industry standard. can't really find any fault with it,personal choice may play a part with some folks. I find it it really well designed for its purpose and parts are replaceable,all round top marks.”
