These trousers are excellent. The fabric is tough enough to withstand normal brushcutting debris. Extra protection can be had by buying Stihl pads that insert from the bottom of the legs into mesh compartments inside the trousers, and which are long enough to protect both shins and knees. Overall the trousers are quite heavy, so braces may well be needed.

Absolutely fantastic trousers. Expensive if you're not used to buying quality work trousers, but liken these to decent motorbike trousers or chainsaw trousers and you soon realise they're a bargain. Material is fantastic. A pair will get a year of intense use gardening and very frequent washing before showing signs of getting tatty. The material is very resistant to thorns/rips, and its only after a year of heavy use and washing that it seems to pick up a couple of small nicks. The water proof lowers are fantastic for anyone regularly strimming on dewy grass. Vents up the backs of the legs are very effective for keeping them cooler. Can be warm in mid summer heatwave, but with the vents open, I've never wished I hadn't them on. Decent pockets, quality zips, real quality materials and stitching throughout. I'm a bigger fella and very sore on trousers normally, and even with all the wear and washing, these show no signs of letting go. Only issue I have is the leg length is too long for my wee duck legs. I pay a local place to take them up to my required length. Just bought another 2 pair! Best gardeners trousers on the market.
