“Good quality spring which fitted my Yeoman Tree pruner. Do check the length and diameter. Slightly fiddly to fit because one end of the spring is a fairly closed loop whilst the other end is a hook shape. I think it is designed that way so as not to jump off when in use.”

“I feel they're not really strong enough to return if the blade jams slightly on a branch or piece of wood. Of course there has to be a balance between strength needed to work against the spring when cutting and the return force provided by the spring.”
