This is a magnificient tool which has enabled me to prune trees and shrubs that was impossible with my previous tools, including loppers, bow saw etc etc. But most importantly I can now tackle tree roots as I need to remove some large stumps and other tree roots. I have only used the saw for a few tasks in the ground for roots and the results have been excellent, it is difficult to tell if the saw has not be blunted, but so far by perofrmance and visual inspection the saw teeth seem in perfect condition. There are much greater challenges to come for root saw on the roots of the stumps, and only then will I know if the claims about handling ground work are true, but so far my confidence is high that the saw will manage to deal with the tasks ahead. The saw is the first tool I have had which has provided me with the means to tackle any pruning task of all the trees and shrubs in my garden, some of which have been initimidating me for years. It reeks of power.
