Excellent holiday at Stira Bay. This was our first holiday with Beyond Beach, but have done many other watersports holidays before. Beyond Beach offered better value vs others, and very few young children (since childcare/ kids clubs not a feature). Loved the transfer via a 40 minute ferry ride. Friendly, really helpful staff - very willing to help with equipment etc. Lovely village 10 mins walk from the hotel. Comfortable rooms, great infinity pool. Only downside was that it was too windy for non-experienced sailors ... but who can get the weather sorted?

We’ve had a fantastic week with our 17 year old son at Stira Bay. Very attentive and helpful Beyondbeach staff, who gave good and clear water sports instruction and helpful ad hoc tips. All kit was new and well cared for (brand new bikes). Had an impressive view from our waterfront room and enjoyed the lovely sunsets. We also tagged on a couple of days in Athens which was a bonus. Evia island seems to be off the usual international tourist track and we enjoyed the authenticity of both Old and New Stira.

We went to the Lazaratos site last year and had such a great experience with the team we thought we would try the new Styra site - its a bit bigger and a different vibe, but worked extremely well! The staff of both the hotel and BeyondBeach were brilliant and very friendly, and we had a superb time. Planning another trip next year.

It was our fifth holiday with BeyondBeach- two flotillas and two stays at Lazaratos Beach Club, both of which we loved, so we were keen to visit the new hotel at Stira Bay. We loved its proximity to the local town and the Beach Club Staff were really kind and helpful. Evia seems relatively undiscovered by International tourists, which is also a bonus- it makes eating out really affordable and the area relatively quiet. Customer service, as ever, was great. We will be back.

A fabulous holiday in a stunning location with a wonderful waterfront team & bike leader! The kit was new and extremely high quality, the coaching was excellent, and the sail-away and paddle-away were a very nice bonus. The cycle routes were interesting and varied, and all the staff were friendly and approachable. Really well done, BeyondBeach.

We spent May half term on our first Beyond beach holiday at Styra Bay, week one for the company at this location and it was faultless. The location is idyllic, quiet but close to Nea Styra for a small selection of restaurants or a morning cycle ride into the old Styra for a coffee in the square. The beach club definitely ticked the box for both adults and teenagers. Michelle and her beach team could not have been more helpful. Tailoring classes to the groups requirements and providing ongoing tuition and guidance as the week progressed. There was always ample equipment available whether it be a sailing boat, windsurf, paddle board, kayak or a foil. With several safety boats on the water, it makes a perfect playground to learn a new skill. The hotel was a lovely family run business with friendly staff and delicious meals, loads of variety and many local specialities. The small number of rooms made it feel very personal. There was literally no admin, Beyond beach took care of everything from transfers to even advising of hotels close to the airport due to late flight arrivals from Scottish airports. It was a fantastic family holiday and we plan to return next year.

First holiday of this kind that I’ve been on and it was brilliant - highly recommend for anyone looking for something different or an active holiday. Went with my dad to Stira Bay on one of their first weeks and was so much fun learning to sail and windsurf. Hotel is in a great location with what is essentially a very long private beach, another nice waterfront swimming area in front of the hotel and lovely little private cove beach right outside our room. Perfect for an active but relaxing holiday. Went before peak season so enjoyed near one-to-one tuition for the whole week. Really friendly and proactive BeyondBeach team, felt very safe on the water and definitely considering returning and booking another BeyondBeach holiday.
