As first time Beyond Beach guests and Stira Bay new to BB this year so no reviews when we booked, we were slightly apprehensive about our holiday. Happy to say we had one of the best holidays ever and about to book for 2025! We are a family of 5 (13, 17 & 20) and were trying to squeeze in a week before Boardmasters, Boomtown and results day. Athens to Stira Bay is an easy journey via the transfer bus (c1hr) and ferry (c40 mins). The resort had something for everyone - non stop water/land activities, dip in & out when you wanted or just lie on a lounger with a good book. Michelle and her team made us feel so welcome and taught us how to sail, windsurf and wing foil. We took SUPs & kayaks out every day and joined the group paddle early one morning. Fitness & relaxation sessions by the sea with Rosie were fabulous. The table tennis tournament, whacky races & the Saturday regatta satisfied the competitive members of our family! We ran out of time but there were regular group cycles - something for next year. Sunset BBQs, buffet breakfasts & a 25 mins walk along the beach to Nea Styra for more restaurants (& the Flamingo bar for the older teenagers ). We all came home having made new friends and look forward to returning next July.

The beach staff are great. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. Always prepared to support and grow clients' confidence on the water, whether sailing, windsurfing or foiling. Keeping the equipment in good order to make the most of wind and water.

We have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks at Stira Bay Beach Club. Michelle and her enthusiastic team were all so encouraging and helpful - they simply couldn't do enough for you to get stuck in and so we did! Great range of dinghy's & CAT's (didn't even have to rig them), windsurfing and standup paddleboards, kayak's, wings and foils, not to forget mountain bikes + various health options, Yoga, Circuit training, wild swimming etc. - Venus Beach hotel where Beyond Beach is based is a small family run hotel, right on the beach with a good pool for those that prefer that to swimming in the sea, again lovely. An absolutely wonderful holiday and we're already looking forward to going next year!!

An absolute pleasure book a holiday with Beyond Beach. The Beach team on the ground were brilliant from the moment we landed. Helpful, friendly and amazing with both us, and our two children (10 & 8). Would recommend to any old Sunsailers looking to recreate the Sunsail of yesteryear (Although punch party wasn't quite as messy, which is probably a good thing TBH!) or to new families looking for something to keep everyone entertained for a fab holiday. Good Value for money and worth every penny.

We had a wonderful time at Stira Bay. Beyond beach have the perfect formula to suit all - those that want a relaxed vibe and those that want non stop water action. They get everyone up and running from beginner level- windsurfing, sailing etc if desired but no pressure. The RYA level 2 was well run. The onland stuff is great - beach circuits, yoga, mountain biking and runs. Michelle runs it brilliantly with her team of enthusiastic, personable and professional staff. If people want to socialise, there is ample opportunity but it is not in any way forced. The hotel is nice and the food decent with fabulous seafood restaurants for nights off inclusive meals, and the teens in our group enjoyed late night drinks and dancing at Flamingo bar in town. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous holiday for our family with 3 kids age 18 to 21. Beautiful location and thank you to Michelle and her team for being so friendly and helpful. Some of us did various water sports, others did less and mainly enjoyed the beautiful location of the hotel with a good book. The staff in the family run hotel were very friendly and welcoming.

We enjoyed our week at Styra Beach. Styra Beach is located in a small bay with beautiful natural surroundings. The rooms are small tiny houses build upon a small hill, all with seaview and an amazong view especially at sunset. The rooms are a little aged and the bathroom might need some refurbishment but they are super clean and everything was functioning. The Resort, Venus Beach is family owned has a very nice swimming pool and beach area, all well spaced over the natural resort. The resort's Taverna provides high quality simple Greek cuisine. The breakfast area (buffet) on the 1st floor feels very "canteen" and noisy with the other guests of Venus beach but Beyond Beach guest can take their breakfast plates to the terras area. Coffee is really not great. The BeyondBeach team is full of good intent and helpfull but the organisation of the sailing activity is a little chaotic. The main painpoint is the limited availability of sailing boats, especially the double handers ( 2 Argo's & 1 Vago) and 2 14ft catamaran. When sailing conditions are great, all boats are quickly taken and the "first come - first serve" organisation makes you sit & wait (and hope) that you will be the next one to get a boat. On top, the sailing kit lacks maintenance and repair: Spi missing on 2 out of the 3 double handers, trapeze handles missing on 1 of the 2 cats. This feels like this is an area of neglect. All this creates unnecessary frustration for more advanced sailors. All in all, a great week but if Beyond Beach wants to seduce true sailing fanatics, a little investment needed. But definitely a holiday to recommend.
