“product arrived in an ok condition few scratches and dents. i did ask for a specific day delivery but they dispatched next day anyway(not the end of the world) but was annoying as had to leave work early to move it into the garage.”
“I can not tell you how it cooks as I have not tried it yet apart from making sure it all works. However, I can say it looks fantastic and feels really solid. It is a really heavy beast which makes me feel it will last. It was a bit daunting when it arrived on a pallet and the parts just kept coming out the box. And be put off by this or the size of the instructions as only part is English. It took a good few hours most of a day to put together on my own so if you get help it will be easier and quicker. The instructions are excellent. You do need to follow step by step and read the instructions under the parts list at each stage but provided you do that you will be fine. There is an odd cavity at the base behind the two front legs. I dropped a screw there and had to use a magnet to retrieve or have to take the leg off otherwise.
All in all I am delighted with it. My current one is a 6 ring gas and I wanted the ability to have gas or charcoal or both and now I have that as well as a smoker. Fingers crossed it lives up to its amazing looks in the summer.”
“I read the other reviews and most were complaining about the build. I found it straight forward if you are organised and did it in 3 hours taking my time.
The BBQ is sturdy and well made and an excellent addition to our garden. Managed to use it once and it grills really well on the gas side. Not used the coal side. Did make a pizza in the oven which was a novelty.
The one striking difference is how easy it is to clean compared to other BBQs I've had.
Overall I would recommend this”
“After researching several BBQs, the Grillstream range was the one I was going to get. I then saw the Pit Boss Memphis and my research started all over again. This BBQ is very well made and has a pretty easy instruction manual to follow. Yes some bits are fiddly and if I were to rewrite the instruction book I would say to attach the back legs to the base and the front legs to the top and then marry the two together. The little handles for the grease trays are hiding in the bag that has the lid standoffs in. The smoker temperature probe and wire are hiding behind the dials on the top section. The gas and charcoal sections are straightforward enough to use. I haven’t used the smoker yet. The supplied cover is heavy weight and feels to be very well made and is relatively easy to put on with one person. I’m really happy we chose the Pit Boss Memphis and are looking forward to many years of cooking on it”
“Looks great, unfortunately the build quality isn't great. Leg slot was blocked by the main body. Screws kept cross threading due to miss alignment. Smoke door one of the magnet doesn't catch. Finally, the part to hold the gas bottle is missing.”
