“We had a problem installing our radiator as the thread for fixing the inlet valve was damaged ( seemed to have small bits of weld in the threads).
This meant we could only fix the tail in about 5mm.
This wasn't enough to prevent it leaking.
Our first thoughts were to purchase a 1/2 tap to clear the thread which would of allowed the tail to be inserted properly.
This would have delayed things so what we did was turn the radiator upside down as the bleed valve only needs to be inserted a small amount!.
This has solved the problem but meant the install took longer than needed.
Fingers crossed it is now water tight and keeping us warm.”
