“Was looking for a rugged case for my new Akai EWI 5000 and found this Bass Bags EWI case that fits the 4000 or 5000 models. Not both together! The case was nicely understated and looked from the images to be very rugged and well padded so I decided it was the best one available for me. Also it had pockets for the 5000's wireless box, power supply and cables. All seperated in individual pockets. The case arrived extremely quickly and was well packed. Upon receiving the bag I of course packed the complete EWI instrument and accessories into ot. All fitted perfectly with a long zipped compartment for cables that also further protects the instrument as it is like a pad that sits above the instrument. Top and bottom sides of the case are protected using plywood inserts the top one could be removed as it is zipped in. I would never need to remove this but it could be extra storage if required. The case has a shoulder strap and a looped handle (leather bound) at the top and back of the case, which is very useful. There are sturdy zips throughout with a two way zip to close the main case. I would highly recommended this case to any EWI 4000 or 5000 owners as it will protect your EWI for many years and makes travelling with the instrument easy and safe. “Truly exceptional product. Very strong and also light weight. It is a perfect fit for my instrument and has compartments for all the necessary components and I am extremely happy with the fit. Perfect case for a professional look. I shopped on eBay for a case for my EWI 5000 and all I found were cheaply made Chinese knock-off products which I was not convinced would sufficiently guard my expensive instrument from damage. I am very glad I found Bass Bags. I would recommend it to any instrumentalist seeking the best possible case for their horn. Well worth the money! Will order from them again in the near future!”

“A little bit pricey but the quality of the bag is evident. Perfectly sized for an EWI, very well padded and with solid base and top; I now feel confident that the instrument will be fully protected when I take it out. Easy to carry over your shoulder. A good investment.”

“Very pleased with this EWI bag. It keeps everything snug and safe and I'm fairly confident nothing will come to any harm in it. Room for EWI 5000, cables, wireless thing and even some smallish headphones. I found the shoulder strap a bit long to pop over one shoulder, so I easily changed it The people at BassBags were quick and efficient.”
