Queen of Truffles Whole Black Truffle Jar Product Description: A truffle's quality mainly depends on product freshness, from the harvest to the table. It undergoes an exhaustive cleaning and a manual selection process according to its colour, aroma, maturity grade and size before vacuum-packing in order to keep its fragrance and unparralled flavour. Our preserved whole truffles only have salt and water added before the sterilization process. Through this process, the truffle loses around 10%-30% of its weight; however it gives out a unique truffle juice. Truffle juice has countless utilities in high gastronomy, but it is not very well-known yet. Food Pairing: Our Whole Black Truffle Jar comes ready to use. Simply slice thinly into pasta, risotto or your favourite salad dishes. Grate on meat fillings, sauces of all types or simply served with scrambled eggs for a luxurious breakfast. “The jar is very small, I have bought these before from a local supermarket but they were in a bigger jar which contained 3 larger truffles than the ones I bought from yourselves. However the truffles I have just bought cost less than the supermarket ones at only £5.50 with postage added on. They are definitely worth trying.”

“These truffles are awful. In the past when I've bought truffles from other companies the smell they give off when opening the jar is incredible. These ones smell like olives. When cooked in a simple pastas dish they gave off such little flavour that we ended up adding other ingredients to save the dish. Will not be buying again.”

“Does not tell you that there is truffle juice in there which taste very sour. First time tried was not nice at all. Felt like its not fully grown and was at its ealiest stage did not enjoy it maybe without the juice in the jar would taste alot better but given the price guess is what it is as they are normally very expensive”
