These delightful little Spanish Polvorones sweet treats are made by roasting flour and crushed almonds, flavoured with cinnamon before being baked in the oven until toasty. The end result are light, delicate, melt-in-the-mouth morsels of almondy crunchiness. A real festive treat and perfect with afternoon tea or a glass of PX sherry.

Polvorones where delicious, would be nice if they had other selection like roscos de vino and alfajores and matecados included

Melt on the tongue with crunchy, toasted almonds. So much better than what I remember from my childhood and what Spanish friends dished up over Christmas. Highly recommended and I am not known for my sweet tooth. Wave a chorizo in my face any day. These are delicious though.
