Ready to Cook Suckling Pig Leg, 1.2Kg, Oven Ready, 2 People Reviews

4.9 Rating 35 Reviews
Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Our ready to cook suckling pig leg is a joint perfect for 2 people to share. It has succulent meat with crispy crackling in just 1 hour. This cut is from the hind quarter of the suckling pig, which remains with its mother for up to 21 days and is entirely milk fed. This produces meat with the finest texture and flavor. To cook, bring the suckling pig to room temperature and place in a pre-heated oven at 200°C/390°F/Gas Mark 6 with the skins facing upwards for 1 hour until tender with a wonderful crispy crackling.

Love these great for 2 to 4 people. I brine mine then slow roast it on the big green egg. Tastes incredible. All the items from Basco come very well chilled, solid boxes I highly recommend.

Sort of half way between ordinary pork, and the very small pigs, I've bought in Spain.

As advised, I cooked it to perfection. So juicy, tender, fabulous flavour and the skin so crisp. Pork just doesnt taste much these days, so this leg was a real surprise for my taste buds! Excellent delivery and the packaging kept it fully frozen. Will order again, thank you.
