WHAT IS OUR SUCKLING PIG LEG? Our ready to cook suckling pig leg is a ready to cook joint perfect for 2 people to share. Succulent meat with crispy crackling in just 1 hour, this is the perfect suckling pig cut for those people that want a small joint without the fuss. Unlike many commercially reared pigs, our piglets remain with their mothers for up to 21 days where they are entirely milk fed. This produces meat with the finest texture and flavour, meat of incomparable flavour and succulence with melt-in-the-mouth crackling. WHAT CUT IS THE SUCKLING PIG LEG? Our suckling pig leg comes from the hind quarter of the suckling pig. HOW DO I COOK A SUCKLING PIG LEG? Your suckling pig leg is oven ready. To cook, simply bring the suckling pig to room temperature and place in a a pre-heated oven at 200°C/390°F/Gas Mark 6 with the skins facing upwards for 1 hour until tender with a wonderful crispy crackling. HOW WILL I RECIEVE MY SUCKLING PIG LEG? You will receive one frozen vac pac of suckling pig leg delivered on ice pads. If you are not using the suckling pig straight away, store in the freezer. If you are, then you will need to thaw it in the fridge for at least 24 hours before cooking. PLEASE NOTE THAT WEIGHTS CAN VARY FROM SUCKLING LEG TO SUCKLING LEG, SO EXPECT A SLIGHT VARIATION ON THE THE WEIGHT OF YOUR SUCKLING PIG LEG.

Absolutely brilliant. I bought 5, having previously ejoyed the taste. All arrived 48 hrs after ordering. Well packaged. Decided to cook the first leg yesterday. I took the leg out of the vacuum pack 48 hrs earlier and left the leg in the fridge to thaw. Once thawed simply salted the leg and left it in the fridge for another 24 hrs. Followed cooking instructions, simply heat oven to 200c fan and cook for 1 hour. The leg was amazingly juicy, incredible crispy skin and stunning flavour. Served with a spicy apple sauce. Can't wait to cook the remaining legs.

I have not eaten this yet, but, judging by the other cuts that I have tried, I will not be disappointed. Again very good delivery.

It was delicious. We cooked it as per Basco recipe. Did not need anything else apart from a bit of salt and pepper. Definitely we shall be re-ordering it again some time in the future. The delivery was prompt and the items were well packed frozen.

The leg is well packed and good value. It tastes well enough, but once one has eaten Iberico pork there is no going back, after secreto and the like other pork tastes weak and bland. Perhaps sucklig pig is just not for me. If you are a fan of this kind of pork then it is excellent. I will stick to Iberico.
