Our Galician Whole Beef Fillet is sourced from the highest quality beef in Galicia, Northwest Spain. We only use retired dairy cows between 8 and 12 years old, which are chubbier and have a higher percentage fat content, giving the fillet a distinct and unique flavour. The beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 7 days, allowing for natural grass-fed marbling. This lean, mean, and tender cut is prized for its quality and can be enjoyed as steaks or a roast.

Buying online can be a risky business particularly when choosing food. Every is described using hyperbole beyond imagination. I had waited for an excuse to buy this fillet but with a few friends for dinner I decided to risk it. All I can say is that it was as described, beautifully tender and unlike beef fillet from my past it was truly flavourful. Because of timing I had to freeze it for a week or so but there was no apparent loss of quality. The fillet needed a bit of trimming but this was not onerous. I've bought another one and cut it in half and frozen it so that I don't have to wait for a big group to do it justice.

This fillet is the 2nd from Basco. Superb quality and flavour. Tender , melt in the mouth. No need for extras, but big chips are good!

Very efficient delivery with ice packs to keep it fresh. The Beef was as described and made some lovely good size steaks when cut. Very tender and full of taste. Will be ordering again as I can't see this order lasting too long.

As rich and as smooth as butter, delicious flavour , we would never have tried dairy beef had we not seen it being used in a spanish restaurant on tv , curious we bought the Galician fillet which on offer at £69 is incredible value. We have already purchased another and are wondering why British dairy cows arent used to their full potential in this way ?

Wow, unbelievably tender, melts in the mouth and unlike many fillets it is really flavoursome. I usually go for rib eye for flavour, but was delighted with this and will definitely buy again. You can see the quality in the marbling and it does not disappoint! I cut it into thick 200g steaks and served rare with béarnaise sauce - fantastic!
