Iberico Baby Back Ribs, 1.3Kg These succulent Iberico Baby Back pork ribs are cut from the Iberico pork loin. They are smaller than standard ribs but offer a far superior flavor due to the diet of acorns and herbs consumed by indigenous black Iberico pigs as they graze in the Dehesa forests of southwest Spain. The animals' exercise also fosters the marbling that makes Iberico pork ribs so special. The acorn and herb-flavored pork is high in mono-unsaturated fats that melt at low temperatures, making it not only delicious but also more healthy than the fat from normal pork. Iberico Baby Back pork ribs have a higher fat content than standard ribs, but their complex flavor is worth it.

“Was so excited about these Given the reviews and planned a bbq around it, delivery and packaging was top notch however the ribs were so fatty by the time I had trimmed them they were pretty much gone. I didn’t expect to pay for the weight of fat. Disappointed”

“Having been a great fan of Cerdo Iberico and Jamon in the mountain villages of Andalusia and Granada, we were delighted to be able to get these ribs from Basco because they are a cut above (no pun intended) the supermarket or even butcher variety, simply the best we have been able to get in the UK. Barbecued with a dry rub of pimento, cumin, garlic, dry herbs and pepper, they were utterly delicious, served with patas a la pobre. What better way to spend a summer's afternoon!”

“these ribs were fantastico!!. i wrapped them in foil and did slowly in the oven, then transferred to the bbq to finish off. all my guests commented on how nice they were. a definate re order for my next bbq. can i also add the care that Basco take getting these chilled/frozen products to you is excellent. Goods arrive in boxes with ice packs inside, keeping everything at its right temperature.”
