“This was a treat for a family gathering. Simply seasoned with salt, pepper and fennel, then roasted on very low (120°C), covered, for 6 hours, followed by high (250°C) for 45 minutes. The crackling was glass-thin with a beautiful snap, while the flesh was incredibly flavourful and succulent. Out of this world. This will now be the centrepiece for all family celebrations going forward!”

“Easy to use on line ordering Basco communication from order confirmation to despatch / delivery was excellent The quality of our suckling pig went down a storm with my guests, a real show stopper , literally everything bar the grunt was devoured Plenty for the 8 of us Easy to cook, a one pan roast so minimal washing up Will definitely be back for more”

“Fantastic as always! 3rd one we have had from Basco. Forgot to select faster delivery so phoned up and the gentleman that answered sorted straight away so got in time to defrost for my wife's 50th birthday party. Everyone loved it. Great light crackling, moist tender meat. Easy to cook. Makes a special occasion special.”

“This suckling pig was like being fed by the good lord himself.. I cooked for 4 hours on a rotisserie and it came out soft with a lovely crackling and full of flavour. I ordered on the Friday and it arrived on the Saturday, ready and fully defrosted for Sunday cooking. You might take an extra day to brine / dry rub but this was pretty good.”
